New Adult Ballet Classes Offered

There has been an amazing demand for Adult Ballet classes, so I have added a couple of more classes!

Many adults have danced in the past and wish to take a class again for exercise and enjoyment.  Others have followed exceptional paths in ballet, and have landed here in the Kootenays, craving this artistic outlet.  Still others love to dance and have always dreamed of attending classes.  Luckily, you are never too old to dance!  Our registrants are wonderful people and I am really looking forward to teaching this class.  For those who wanted Adult Ballet but could not attend Thursday nights, there are two new classes being offered.  I hope they work for you!

WEDNESDAY

1:00 – 2:30    Adult Ballet
5:30 – 7:00    Adult Ballet

I am really excited about these adult classes.  So many amazing dancers wish for a class as they get older, (like over 20;)!  I returned to ballet in my late 20’s and never regretted it.  It was a period of my life where I learned how to be a good instructor and how to follow my creativity not just my ability.  Most dancers are in the prime of their lives in their 30’s, and even follow professional careers into their 40’s.  My favourite dance partner was Mary, who was over 65 with a hearing aid but loved dance so much you could taste it!  Her daughter followed her passion and became a dance instructor at Simon Fraser University in the lower mainland of BC.  Dance is for everyone!   Looking forward to next week!

Miss Corrine’s School of Dance new Studio!

Welcome to a new year of dance!  I am excited to share my passion for dance with you at my new school, Miss Corrine’s School of Dance.  Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions.  My studio is located on 622 Victoria St in Nelson.  The following is a breakdown of the schedule and costs.  Classes begin September 16th and run for 10 months until the end of June.  The fall semester focuses on technique.  With January, I will rework the classes and begin choreography.  The end of the year we will have a Strawberry Tea, where you may invite friends and family to see your amazing progress!  I look forward to dancing with you!

TUESDAYS 
3:30 – 4:15    Ages 7&8   45 minute class $35 per month
4:15 – 5:15    Ages 9&10    1 hour class $45 per month
5:15 – 6:30    Ages 11&12    1 hour 15 minute class $56.25 per month
6:30 – 8:00    Ages 13&14    1 hour 30 minute class $67.50 per month

WEDNESDAYS
3:30 – 4:15   Ages 4&5    45 minute class $35 per month
4:15 – 5:00    Ages 6&7    45 minute class $35 per month
5:30 – 7:00   Adult Class  1 hour 30 minute class $67.50 per month

THURSDAYS
4:00 – 5:30   Young Adult Class   1 hour 30 minute class $67.50 per month
5:30 – 7:00   Adult Class   1 hour 30 minute class $67.50 per month
7:00 – 8:00   Stretch Class   1 hour class $45 per month

There is a 10% discount on additional classes as well as a further 10% off if paying for the whole year.  There are no administration fees or final performance fees.
This schedule may change, as I am getting great responses for my adult ballet classes.  I may add classes to this, but I will not change the classes posted.
